Herne Driving School is owned by Jamie Baker who, in addition to being a fully qualified DSA instructor, is a registered Institute of Advanced Motorists instructor which means Herne Driving School offers a very comprehensive range of manual car driving tuition individually tailored for learners through to qualified drivers requiring refresher or advanced lessons.

We provide a very high standard of driver training that not only enables you to pass your test but will also inspire confidence in your driving. Needless to say, all of our instruction is in accordance with the Driving Standards Agency guidelines and ensures 'safe driving for life'.

The car we currently use for tuition is the very popular Fiat Grande Punto with dual controls, power steering and A.B.S. (anti-lock brakes). It offers good all round visibilty, is compact and easy to drive.
